Audio Scaring Systems
Audio systems work either by mimicking the target species in distress, giving the impression that one of the flock has been caught by a predator; by mimicking the sound of a predator; or by providing startling, loud noises that scare the target species into flight.

One of the methods of scaring bird populations is to broadcast the target species own distress calls through loud-speakers. These systems can be used as a supplement to other methods, or as a stand-alone deterrent. They can be used both indoors and outdoors and, once installed, require little maintenance.

Visual deterrents work either by mimicking a predator, such as a bird of prey, or by providing startling images, flashing light or movement that scare the target species.
